Client Overview
Christine McAlister CPA is a bookkeeping and accounting business in Bradford, ON. Christine started in accounting 25 years ago while working with her dad at his construction business. She always loved numbers and had a knack for it so her Dad’s accountant suggested she get certified. She did that while building her family and eventually left her dad’s construction business to start her own accounting business and now specializes in construction businesses.
She’s built her busy business purely on referrals from very happy customers. They often pop in to bring her and her staff flowers and food!
The Brand
Christine loves neutral colours which is a perfect palette for the construction clients she’s trying to attract. This palette also separates her from her competition who tend to look very corporate.
We stayed with burgundy for her logo as this is the colour she uses on her current office signage. And it works well with her new logo.
Christine’s office is a very happy place with lots of laughter. She makes sure her staff have a good work atmosphere and wanted this warmth to come through in her branding.
The Website
A 1-page scrolling website was perfect for this busy accountant. She didn’t have to spend a long time getting content ready for a multi-page brochure site. Plus, most of her leads come from referrals so she just needed something to show her credibility.
The other goal of her site was to have a client portal integrated into her site to save her and her clients time. Now they can upload their documents very easily.
